These two river rats (i mean that in the most affectionate way possible) got married in Embudo, NM, right on the Rio Grande, in one of the sweetest and most loving ceremonies I've ever seen. I wish the best to this wonderful couple. you guys sure know how to throw a party!

Growing up I had a very special best friend. I spent every weekend at her house, and we stayed up all night long. We wrote terrible poems, and swooned over rock stars we would one day marry. We hung out in her half filled pool, laid out of the hood of cars we were not old enough to drive during thunder storms. We were two peas in a pod. As it tends to do, life took us in two separate directions and  i was delighted to hear from her a couple of years ago. She told me all about this wonderful man she was dating. I'm honored to have been able to be a part of their wedding day. I'm so happy for you Chels, and I still have every note we ever wrote back and forth in middle school! I hope you like the pictures i took.

With Love,
Lise

My friend Adam gave this beer to me today when we went over to pick up Delilah from their house. I think all babysitters need to hand you a beer once you walk in the door. I almost feel bad about planning to drink it with dinner because he and the yogurt have a thing going on. The butter is jealous.

I saw a beautiful image today while taking out the garbage. There was an older woman sitting outside her door in a  yellow sundress, reading the bible. She looked both homey and regal and the light was fantastic. I ran upstairs to grab my camera.

When I asked the woman if i may take her photo she replied by saying "Go to hell and get the fuck out of here! How dare you!? Take a picture of your ass". I needed a Daily Image, so...

Despite the smoky air, Brent and Christine had an eclectic and moving ceremony in Taos that was deeply touching. I wish you both the very best.

Hi everyone! In an effort to update this blog more regularly, i'm going to be posting a photo everyday. it will be good for me to get more photos, and i'll also be posting older stuff. Enjoy!

Congratulations to a beautiful couple. Bryan and Leah had a wonderful event at Hotel La Fonda in Santa Fe. Such a fun time!

There's a fantastic little church in Taos that's been converted into a fantastic little restaurant. It's called the Love Apple. We used that as our location to do a shoot with a couple of great models. Arron and Rachel were phenomenal and i think i'll work with both of them again once I get an amazing idea. I hope you enjoy these images. I really enjoyed taking them.

I did a set of product photography for Taos Truffles this week and if i don't say so myself, they look good enough to eat.
