Photography for me was a family business. My mother was a photographer and was always making my sisters and I pose for artistic photo shoots. As soon as I was old enough my mother bought me an old camera made of metal and taught me how to use it. I immediately fell in love with the lenses, dials, and rings. My idea of fun was to have my mother quiz me on lighting, composition, f-stops, and apertures. Photography was my first passion.

After college I worked for advertising agencies in San Francisco as a producer and learned about the intricacies of fashion photography. After working as a freelance photographer and designer in San Francisco for 6 years, I made the move to Albuquerque. I love it here more that I thought possible.

My style is to bring the clean professional feeling of fashion and commercial photography together with a photo journalistic style to create an beautiful and memorable mix of intimate, telling portraits and  moments captured as they happen. Portraiture is my greatest talent and whether I am photographing a new baby, a family, or a wedding, my aim is the same; to create images that capture the unique qualities that make each of us wonderful and compelling. I want each of my images to tell a story, and to pay tribute to it's subject in a way that no other medium can.
