I had the pleasure of photographing my first New Mexico Wedding this past week, and it was awesome. Laura and Malcom got married in the Loretto chapel, a beautiful old Gothic cathedral placed incongruously in the middle of the historic district in Santa Fe, amidst old adobe buildings. They had their reception in the lobby of the theater at the College of Santa Fe. Both locations had a classic charm that made me think of Old Hollywood, so I kept that in mind during the shooting and post-production. What I ended up with was a almost-completely photo journalistic day with a few posed portraits thrown in, and a lot of super contrasted and black and white images. I hope the happy couple is a jazzed as I am about their Pictures!
